Original Gitane Frigécreme jersey as worn during the prologue of the 1973 Tour de France by Joop Zoetemelk.

Gitane–Frigécrème was a French professional cycling team that existed only one year in 1973 winning the prologue and two stages of the Tour de France.. At the end of the 1973 season, the team was merged into the Sonolor team, which was renamed Sonolor–Gitane for 1974. Its main sponsor was French bicycle manufacturer Gitane.

Color: The time trial jersey has a white chest band, whereas the jersey used in the road races is sky blue.

• Short length zip at the collar 9cm
• No back pockets
• Short sleeves jersey
• No maker’s label present

Please note: few flaws including a small hole near the zipper (which seems a little bit grippy but works), stains including large bluish ones almost invisible under the left arm, untied threads in front and back at about the same place. Please review photos carefully.
